The goal of Project Random Cool Thing is to create... a random Cool Thing!
This project comes from Touru/Alyssa reading the introduction to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, in which she describes how she came to write the novel. She, Percy Shelley, Lord Byron, and another friend were visiting together, and they came upon a book of horror stories. They read the book, and decided that each would write their own horror story. Percy Shelley, Byron, and the fourth person all made some short or abortive attempt; Mary Shelley eventually came up with Frankenstein.
Project Random Cool Thing is a collection of works of fiction all written in the same genre (well, actually, genres) by various people who happened to hear about the project. And it is cool. I apologise for taking so long to put it together, and I will still add stories, to accomodate other procrastinators. =D
